I belong to P E T A, People Eating Tasty Animals.

I've had horse , it's very good. I used to live out west and knew folks who would have gladly taken a horse home to butcher, had it been aloud.There was also food banks willing to take horses and pay for them to be humanely slaughtered.

Witness suicide in Anderson, Indiana???

check out this sad, sad obituary and picture in my local newspaper.

the body was found after 5 days in the river by a fisherman.

police are 'investigating' but no headlines about homicide.

before i came to witness it , i just thought 'oh well, that's great, if thats what you want to do then why not ' .

i wasnt prepared for how much it would affect me and its made me re-think the whole thing.

Do you like bubbly personalities?

when people are super bubbly/friendly/cheery, or constantly smiling ear-to-ear when the situation doesn't call for it, i immediately suspect they are either phonies, trying to sell me something, or suffering from bipolar mania.

that is not really very fair of me, but that's what springs to mind.. i hate nervous giggling too.

it completely grates on my nerves.

Bubbly people are just different from me. I don't understand them, look down on them or try to be like them. I just avoid them before 10 in the morning.

Late 95 & 96 were very busy years. There were long neglected home repairs to be done, business plans to reavaluate, unnuities to rethink,lack of retirement plans to formulate. There was also the discreet vemoval of several rows of chairs from the back of the hall and storage of them to be done.But everyone was too busy with a realignment of our congregations territory started by the CO to take much notice. Oh!, and the parking problem mysteriously no longer existed.

How do you get rid of mice in the walls?

they're annoying the heck out of us.

can't tell how they're getting in, and neither can my .

Be glad it's only mice. I have not found any one thing to work with the mice. I have started encouraging hawks.

I have bats in the attic, mice every fall upstairs , downstairs and in the walls, chipmunks in walls & garage, racoons, bears, red ,gray & flying squirrels at the bird feeders, bears on the deck at the grill, bears digging the sand mound, bears ripping out septic vents, deer poo everywere ( the dog loves it) they eat everything I plant & silk flowers,turkeys scratching up the yard,opossum knocking things over in the night and critters building things under the hood of my car.

The worst is keeping the peace between a daughter and her havaheart traps trying to rescue all the wee little creatures and a husband who is determined to fill our freezer with all the neighborhood visitors so I can save money on food. Did anyone else when leaving the witnesses and taking up the celebration of holidays have to debate if we should celebrate groundhog day by roasting a large stuffed groundhog? Sorry for the rant.
